Najahe’s Bio



Najahe Sherman is a news anchor and reporter at WKRN-TV, News 2 the ABC affiliate in Nashville, Tennessee. She anchors News 2 at 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. on weekends and reports for the evening and nightly news during the week.

Prior to joining the News 2 team, Najahe worked as a news anchor, reporter and multimedia journalist in television markets in Missouri, Louisiana, Wyoming and Iowa. Najahe graduated from the William Allen White School of Journalism & Mass Communications at the University of Kansas.

Najahe is an active community volunteer and has served as a youth mentor for the Big Brothers Big Sisters Organization and volunteered at Boys and Girls Clubs in Louisiana. She is also a former NFL Kansas City Chiefs Cheerleader and former Mrs. Louisiana America.

Najahe is thrilled to call Nashville home along with her husband, daughter and their two Yorkshire Terriers.
